I am on cycle day 21. I was suppose to start new pack of pills feb 24th but didnt because me and husband want to conceive. Feb 25th i got my period and it lasted till feb 28th. My dr said to count this as a normal period. I noticed changes in cervical fluid around cycle day 9 or so. Since day 18-19 i have had sore nipples and at time my boobs will hurt. I also have nausous spells. I am also having this off and on cramping. Tested this morning with a cheap test and it was negative. Any advice?Advice????
unless its an early pregnancy test you have to wait 2 weeks after you have sex to test....
if its a early test (which is usually 5 days sooner) then u can test 5 days(or whatever the box says) sooner than that 2 week period.....
in my opinion the best test to take is the digital tests that read pregnant or not pregnant because theres no mistaken the results......
unlike the line tests where the line can be faint and then the women worry about if its positive or negative....although let me add that any line no matte rhow faint it is,is a positive result....but like i said, there will be no mistaken the results if you do a digital test to begin with....
and if youre NOT testing early, the the cheap dollar store tests do work just as good as the expensive tests.....so if you didnt test early(meaning 2 weeks after you had sex or more) and there was no line at all in the result window then you arent pregnant....Advice????
check with your doctor you could be early. the type of test dont matter they are all the same and they all measure the same this just some can measure early and thers late.so just check with your doc and try and get a quantatative test, thats the blood test that tells it all.
it doesn't matter if the test is cheap or not, you probably tested to soon. wait till march 28 th and then take a test. you will feel premenstrual symptoms as well as pregnancy symptoms way before the test will show positive or negative, usually a week or so before. i hope you are pregnant!! :) but i can tell you that i was too soon to test. good luck!! :)
If you are really pregnant, no matter how cheap the home pregnancy test kit is, it can still gives you an accurate answer.
What you should do next is take a home pregnancy test again. But this time round, take it another week after you had missed your period. Because if you are pregnant, your hormones level will be high and the pregnancy stick will be able to detect it. Another alternative you can seek is to see a doctor and request for a blood test.
When coming off the pill you can have many side effects. Some are your boobs and nipples will feel tender sometimes really tender, you feel nauseous too. You may feel light headed and maybe a faint feeling or dizzy. You might feel very tired. These are all signs of also being pregnant, so its hard to tell them apart. What I would do is first wait for your missed period, then take another test. If that says neg. wait for a week of your missed period and take another test. (that is if you didn't get it during that time period) If it still says neg. then I would go to your doctor and get a blood test done.
Also when coming off the pill it is normal to have a late or missed period. Your body is adjusting to you not taking the pill anymore. It can take up to 4 mths for this to happen. I hope in your case you are pregnant. Some women get pregnant right away and some it could take 6mths to a year to get pregnant. Good luck!!!
It may be too early to expect to conceive. It may take a long time depending how long you've been on the pill (or any other contraceptive bar the barrier method). Some women find it hard to conceive for months or even years after quitting. Others can get pregnant even on the shot.
If it's a question of how to increase your chances of conception then he's the one with the most work to do. Low stress, not too much sitting, and no cycling for either of you! On top of all that, the more times you orgasm the better. It increases egg production which in turn means more chances of a baby. If you're constantly trying then most likely you should succeed, but if problems persist talk to your doctor.
since you just came off the pill it could be the effects of stopping,, but you could be pregnant and tested too early... go to the store and buy a two or three pack and wait til the day your period is supposed to come, then test first thing in the morning, or if youre really able to be patient, wait til its a couple days late....
dont take all the tests at once!! one will do. save the rest for later, if you get a negative you can retest after a few more days.
If you keep getting negatives after a week to ten days, call your doc for a test....
Go to a doctor.
take a blood test or see a doc
i would make an appt with your dr and get a blood test to confirm
