What advice does anyone have for my 15 yo daughter starting softball?

what are some good ideas to practice batting, etc. links to equip. she is athletic but only a small amount of sports experience but she's a fast learner and it is pretty informalWhat advice does anyone have for my 15 yo daughter starting softball?
Take a wooden broom handle saw off the threads where you screw it into the broom head. Drill a hole through a softball and run slice of 1/4'; cloth covered nylon rope, about 10 or 12 feet, through it and knot it really big on the other side. Attach the other end to the end of the broom handle on a swivel so you can spin the ball around your head and she can hit balls without you having to chase them. Works for right or left handers. Helps to teach her to keep her eye on the ball. Helps to teach her swing timing and proper batting rhythm. Will help her to not be afraid of fast pitch. What advice does anyone have for my 15 yo daughter starting softball?
keep the swing level %26amp; practice in the field a lot, it really helps
Pitching can be hard to learn but if she is a fast learner it may not be that hard for her. If she gets really good at that position everyone will be asking her to play. But make sure all the time she spends learning she is still having fun because the more fun she has the better she'll play.
You should purchase the zip-n-hit pro. It forces you to keep a level swing and you can throw all sorts of pitches with it. I highly recommend it and so does Derek Jeter.

I know this model is for baseball, but they sell a softball one:

Try and learn to pitch..........she'll always be sought after if shes a good pitcher.
My best advice is just to have fun. Playing ball is one of the best memories she will have in her life. If she has any sports experience at all, she'll learn a lot from her coaches and teammates. Above all, make sure she keeps her grades up!
Watch out for lesbians, girls' softball is famous for that and I have heard from girls that played that it is a significant factor. Perhaps if she is a lesbian she will be very happy!
