Advice on clomid and when should you do pregnancy tests?

I am on my first round of clomid 50mg, I am due on next week. I have done a test today and it was negtive. I am on the verge of giving up hope. What should I do. I know every one is different but I thought I had a good chance of it working. I would be great full if any body good share some light on this and there prefrences.Advice on clomid and when should you do pregnancy tests?
DON'T TEST EARLY!!! That's my advice to everyone. It's so very tempting to pee on that stick but doing it too early is just setting yourself up for disappointment. TTC is hard enough, don't make it any harder on yourself. You can't beat science - it takes approximately one week for an implanted embryo to produce enough hcg to give you a positive. That's what the positive stems from - implantation, not ovulation. If you think of it that way it shows you that testing a week after ovulating is pointless because even if you are pregnant that embryo is just attaching itself to the uterus. It hasn't had enough time to produce all that hcg. Just remind yourself to test a week after (possible) implantation, not a week after ovulation, which is approximately 2 week after ovulating.Advice on clomid and when should you do pregnancy tests?
Wait until cd35 to take a test. It will show up accurately by then. I was on Clomid 50 mg for my first cycle and that is when my ob told me to take my test if period did not show up. I am now on my 3rd cycle and hoping and praying that it works.
Wait until your period appear.. one week before is too early to get the result

good luck
wait until you are 7 days late for your period, then test!!!!
