My favourite smell ever is the Tesco sensual bath and massage oil, but unfortunately they stopped making it and I'm running out of it!!
I'd like to re-create it myself. The ingredients are grapeseed oil and essential oils of Rosewood, Patchouli, Cedarwood, Cassia, Ylang Ylang and Cardamom.
Does anyone know how much of each I would need to use?
Thank you!Any aromatherapists out there who could give me advice on a bath oil blend please?
For any bath / massage oil you need a carrier oil which is unscented, it works as a base. This is what the grapeseed oil is, but you could also use sweet almond oil or even a mineral oil. For 100ml of base oil, you could then add 5-10 drops (total) of the scented oils.
I would recommend using mainly the Rosewood, Patchouli, Cedarwood and Ylang Ylang. Cardamom and Cassia are both very strong oils and so you would want only the tiniest amount of these.
The scented oils are really concentrated, that's why you don't add them directly to your skin or bath water.
