Advice!!!!?

i want to become a Psychologists. is it a good money maker?Advice!!!!?
if you are going into the field to make money, you are choosing the wrong career - while you can make good money with a PHD, usually with a master's you only make 40-65K a year depending where you are in the country and depending on if you work for the state or have a private practice.





if you want to go into this field, it needs to be because you have the desire to help people and make their lives better. a PHD program is INCREDIBLY competitive and extremely hard to get into - so you can't bank on that for a high salary.Advice!!!!?
if u will be good in that yes it makes very money. but do not decide about ur way by price. u cost more
I'm in the field. I'm not a Psychologist, but I can tell you Psychiatrists make more money because they can prescribe medications. Psychologist probably make $55-65,000 per year. BUT..the huge drawback is that you never leave your work. Your entire life is consumed by others people's problems and eventually...you will start to develop your own personal problems and may end up treating your family members like your patients. It's a very hard divide separating work from your personal life.
Of course it is. You would make even more if you became a psychiatrist.
If your only reason for wanting to be a Psychologist is the Money, I suggest you re-think your motives...
it's great money there are a lot of people who (aren't crazy or delusional) but need some one to talk to, and it's even better if you get your phd.

Am taking that class right now its really fun to talk about human behavior if thats what you want to become go for it it makes really good money am doing it because i want to become an FBI so am taking it as requirement and ilike it.
Yes-a great money maker if you find the right niche. But you should do it for a love of people and helping other people--not money. That makes a bad psychologist. It's a lot of schooling so you'll be spending money to make money.
Can you deal with listening to people whine and b*tch all day, every day, month in and month out? If yes, go for it. If you're good, you'll make money.
